The Big Three

The Big Three

My knowledge of hoop is limited I’ll admit, but the winning ways of this team is really pulling me in! I’m going to drop some serious coin and get some tickets to a game and bring the kids. Kevin Garnett is amazing and I love his attitude towards the game. I love watching players that are out there with the intensity that he has!

Go Celtics!

Congrats to Pedroia

Dustin Pedroia signed a six year 40 million dollar deal with the Red Sox!

This is a guy who deserves it! I’m happy for this dirt-dog to finally become a millionaire like most of his team mates in Beantown! I hope he continues to play with the passion that has made him who he is today.

A team full of guys like this and you would be guaranteed a winner every year.

Red Sox Faithful

Watching the game with the kids

Watching the game with the kids

What good times for New Englanders!  The Sox are rolling through the first round of the playoffs winning two games straight on the road!  Hopefully they close it out on Sunday in Boston.

I love this photo of the three of us watching the Sox.  My kids are being indoctrinated into the Red Sox faithful and this photo will serve as a memory they can look back on years from now.  Who knows what they’ll have to put up with over the next 20 years but at least they are on the right track! Congrat’s to K-Rod

K-Rod enthusiastic after another save

K-Rod enthusiastic after another save

K-Rod beat Thigpen’s record or 57 saves in a season last night.  Good for him - it’s amazing how much needs to go right for something like this to happen.  It takes a team for sure to contribute to this as well as a stong desire that K-Rod seems to take to the mound each time he takes it!  He reminds me of Mariano Rivera in his consistant performance year after year.  Great closers.

I can’t help but wonder if and when this record gets beat who will do it?? Will I even be alive is what I really should be asking!

In the event the Red Sox falter this post season I’ll be routing for the Angels for sure.  They are my second favorite AL team plus the fact that their manager Mike Scoisca is the spitting image of this guy I work with whom we’ve nick-named “Chrome-Dome”

Go Halo’s

Ireland has won their first match against Georgia 2-1

I can’t wait for the World Cup to begin even though it’s still two years away.  While I’ll be routing for Ireland all the way, I’m still pulling for the USA who have their first match right at this very moment in Havana, Cuba!
