Half Combo / Half Chicken Parm
Why do I love pizza is the question here.
First and foremost - it makes me happy. The idea that “we’re getting a pizza” gets the adrenaline going. It’s almost like a special occasion when a pizza is being ordered. But more than the fact that it makes me happy I would have to say it’s the memories that surround this fantastic meal.
It reminds me of my gluttonous youth when it was a race to get the lions share when luck had it that we got a pizza for the family. It reminds me of good times with friends in different restaurants. It reminds me of a trip to Italy in the 80’s with my wife ( before we had kids and life was care free - but thats antoher story alltogether ) where we sampled some of Italy’s creations.
Pizza is a special treat enjoyed the world over and I want it to be known that I absolutely love it. Nothing beats a nice thin tomato and anchovy pizza with a little parmesean and hot pepper seeds.
